Win the first hour of your morning, and you will win the rest of the day
Begin by setting up a simple habit of making your bed… every day
Make your bed every day, and you will have completed a goal in the first 10 minutes of waking up, and you will get a sense of accomplishment before you even put on pants
Make the bed right away so you are not tempted to go back to sleep after brushing your teeth (I may or may not have done that several times and ended up missing class because my alarm already went off…)
Win the morning, and it sets you up for success for the rest of the day
And if you happen to have a bad day that day, at least you will come back home to a made bed.
That being said… This post was inspired by the fact that I woke up at 2:30 PM today.
My body does weird things.
