Think then feel

The other day I had a rather displeasing interaction with a homophobic individual

I wasn’t entirely sure how to feel by the interaction

In fact I had to think about the entire situation first–almost in an analytical way–before I reacted

It was like a weird out of body experience

After thinking, I then realized I should feel angry, indignant.

Emotions are often irrational and it was almost like a refreshing experience for me to think then feel
